Holiday Pop Up Cards

Learn Paper Engineering! Create holiday themed Pop-Up Cards, while learning basic techniques, terms, and a foundation for creative exploration. Each student will make three cards using a variety of techniques.

Cost:  $55 (includes materials)

Dates:  Tuesday, November 8, 2016, 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Please note that Museum Members receive 10% off the price of tuition. Advanced registration is required. Please call (713) 522-4652 to register.

Cancellations and refund requests must be made a minimum of three days (72 hours) prior to the first class date, by calling (713) 522-4652. In the event that minimum enrollment is not met, the Museum reserves the right to cancel the class and will provide a full refund.

Janet Reynolds

Janet Reynolds is an artist/teacher.  She currently teaches art in Pasadena ISD to 5th and 6th grade students.  She is a book artist and enjoys learning new ways to make accordion books, hand stitched books, and experimenting with other forms of sculptural bookmaking.  She has exhibited her work in the US and Mexico.  Janet earned her BFA from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH and her MA in Art Education from Boston University. She is a member of the Houston Book Arts Guild, the Guild of Book Workers, and the Miniature Book Society.
