The Printing Museum offers private classes for beginners to advanced artists who want to build skills in the following book arts disciplines:

  • Papermaking – available now
  • Letterpress printing – available now
  • Printmaking (stone lithography) – TBD
  • Bookbinding – TBD

Instructors design a curriculum to fit the needs of each student. These classes can count as pre-requisites for advanced level workshops and rental certification.

COVID PROTOCOLS
Due to the interactive nature of private one-on-one instruction, we ask that all registrants comply with the following protocols to ensure the safety and the safety of registrants, instructors, and staff. Registrants must:

  • Have their temperature taken prior to entering the Museum
  • Stay home and reschedule the tutorial if they are feeling sick
  • Wear masks and gloves at all times
  • Do their best to practice social distancing

When

Tuesday through Saturday. Times vary depending on the availability of the instructor.

Fees

$35/hour with a 3-hour minimum, supplies included.

Booking

Private classes can be booked no sooner than seven (7) days in advance in order to provide the best educational experience.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

In the event you need to cancel due to sickness or other unforeseen circumstances, you may reschedule your class at no cost if canceled 48 hours or more prior to the start of your tutorial. If canceled less than 48 hours you will be charged a $35 rescheduling fee.
