Have you ever wanted to make zine with a group of other artists? Well, now you can with Houston-based artist and educator Ian Gerson! Collaborative zine making is a great way to exchange ideas and be inspired while inspiring other. This workshop is welcoming to both experienced zine makers and those curious about the process. Guided by a loose prompt of considering your relationship to place, we will experiment with collage and drawing to create pages for the zine. Every participant will leave with a collectively made zine highlighting our commonalities and celebrating our differences. Adults 18+
Interdisciplinary artist and educator, Ian Gerson’s zine work is on display as a part of Book Arts Houston exhibition running from April to June 17, 2023 at The Printing Museum.
Location: This workshop is in-person at The Printing Museum in our NEW LOCATION, 3121 San Jacinto St.
