She will cover image transfer, safe carving methods, mounting and shimming blocks and achieving optimal ink coverage. Using lots visuals and demonstrating on a table top Kelsey Platen Press she will also demonstrate many different approaches and methods to get the results you are looking for as well as troubleshooting common issues. This class is perfect for beginners in linocut printmaking and/or letterpress printing or for those looking for a refresher.
