Block Printing with Repeating Patterns
March 26 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm
Learn how to design and print using tessellation patterns – the art of repeating motifs. This versatile type of design is useful for a variety of surfaces: paper, fabric and even décor! Join Michelle Wiebe as she guides you through the principals of creating linoleum blocks that create a grand motif when printed in tandem. She will provide tips, techniques and multiple approaches for simple to complex interlocking designs. Also discussed will be surface and ink considerations for a wide range of projects. This interactive demonstration includes places for lots of questions so that you can take this information and start customizing it to your projects with confidence.
Location: Online via Zoom. We are planning to make a recording of the program available to everyone who has registered, so you will be able to watch the entire program at your convenience even if you can’t join us live.
Registration: $35.
