Advanced Risograph Techniques

May 7 @ 11:30 am 5:00 pm

The risograph is a Japanese printer-duplicator that is seeing a resurgence in popularity among artists and zine (pronounced zeen) enthusiasts, due to its affordability and unique quality of prints.

RISO INKS:

Take your Risograph skills to the next level! Students will learn advanced print techniques to further master their ability to use the Riso for maximal effect in their creative work. Participants will explore the different functions using their own designs to create two color prints, including business cards, merchandise tags, flyers, pocket zines or more! Topics covered will include: zine layout, multiprint, multi-color registration, and other fun techniques.

Successful completion of the class certifies students to reserve the Risograph during Open Studio.
