White-Line Woodcut is a great and simple way to merge printmaking with watercolor to create an edition, or endless variations of a design that are both graphic and painterly. The technique was popularized by a group of artists known as the “Provincetown Printers” in the early 20th century. These artists were looking for a way to make reproductions of their watercolor works for sale. This workshop requires no previous experience in either printmaking, watercolor, or woodcarving.
