Let creativity shine at Camp Create’s full-day summer camp for youth ages 6 to 13! Campers will be immersed in an art-focused, STEM-enriched, studio arts environment. Each day is filled with hands-on, creative experiences that will encourage curiosity, exploration, and collaboration built around a dynamic weekly theme.

AGES 6-13

Our instructors are professional K-12 educators, supported by guest instructors who are experts in specific topics such as marine biology, printmaking, urban art, laser technology, and more. Activities will be held in a professional artist studio with well-chaperoned outdoor ventures.

Printmaking A to Z
From screen-printing t-shirts to printing with LegosTM, explore the numerous ways artists today make multiple prints from just one image.

Space Travel
Experience outer space through art! Every project created will give you insight into our planet’s space in its galaxy and beyond.

Make Your Own Zine!
Explore the fast-paced world making zines. You’ll learn how to craft your own stories, create illustrations, and explore the many different tools that zine-makers use to create their tales.

Myth and Fantasy
Learn how to create three dimensional creatures using paper, plaster, lasers, and more!
 Your imagination is the limit in this class that explores bringing fantasy to life.

Build a Book
Did you know that you can actually make your own book? You’ll even make your own paper! Whether you’re an up-and-coming writer or artist, you’ll finish the week with several books all made by you!

Nature Printing
Printing directly from objects we find in nature gives us a unique view into the secret life of plants and even animals.
 By the end of the week, you will have created many unique works of art, all directly from nature…no drawing required!

Urban Art
Houston is the city of murals! This week we’ll explore and create art that happens in the community from mural painting to paste-up. This is a dynamic and exciting way to find a whole new canvas.
