New Directions is the first survey of work created by artists in the museum’s new Artist-in-Residence program. The works on display represent the many diverse artistic outcomes achievable within the book arts disciplines of bookbinding, letterpress, printmaking, and papermaking. Each artist learned from museum teaching artists and used studio resources in whole or in part, entirely onsite or mostly offsite to create truly unique bodies of work.
